Program Description:
Children’s Respite Coordination offers support for families with children with developmental disabilities. Families receive assistance accessing funding for respite care and assistance with locating a qualified respite worker. Families are given access to resources, such as www.respiteservices.com and the Ministry of Children, Community and Social Services in order to assist them with their respite needs.
Community Living Mattawa’s Respite Coordinator meets with families on an individual basis to determine family needs. Meetings are scheduled on an appointment basis.

How to access Children’s Respite Coordination:
Eligibility:
The family must:
- Have a child with a developmental disability under the age of 18;
- Reside within the geographical boundaries of the Mattawa-Bonfield catchment area
