PART-TIME SUPPORT WORKERS

Are scheduled to work 56 hours bi-weekly. This will include a variety of shifts on weekdays, evenings, nights and weekends.
Rate of Pay: $23.09 -$26.81/hr plus benefits
The ideal candidate will have post-secondary education in Human Services (DSW, SSW, PSW, Recreation, Addictions etc. ) and possess a valid Driver’s License.
Bilingualism and experience in the field of developmental disabilities would be an asset, but we are willing to train.

Must be able to obtain a Criminal reference check and CPR/First Aid certification if hired.

Developmental Services Worker Apprenticeship Program

Community Living Mattawa is currently accepting applications for Developmental Service Worker (DSW) Apprentices.

The DSW Apprenticeship program consists of both in-school and on-the-job training. The in-school portion of the program is 780 hours of school done through distance education. The cost of the schooling is covered by the Apprentice.

The on-the-job training consists of 3720 hours of paid work for Community Living Mattawa.  This work will be done in the various program areas within the agency and applicants will need to be available for all shifts, including days, evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays.

Successful Applicants will be expected to register with the Ontario College of Trades, and sign an Apprenticeship contract with Community Living Mattawa.  In addition Applicants will need to have a valid drivers licence and obtain a Criminal Reference check that includes a Vulnerable Sector Screen.
